Haha. I think you may dig at least some tracks out of this. I suggest giving it a cursory spin since it's short and concise. Cheers.

good album, but not as good as the first two. certainly not lame though.
I heard they wrote and recorded this in a total of 4 days, and it kind of sounds like it (lending credence to the "underdeveloped" portion of the review).
nice work Greg

Thanks man. I heard it actually took them 6 days to record this. Still, you can definitely say it was too short even for such a great bunch of musicians to come up with something more than good. Patton is a beast on some of these tracks though.

Good record... love the over mixture of previous albums and a return to the firsts feel.

In what way is anything on this album reminiscent of the self-titled?

"This band is the definition of average. All the potential of Patton and it all comes out like just one big blur."
You can shit on this band as much as you want but its most certainly not the definition of average.

who's shitting on this band?
They're amazing, they just made a very record that sounds rather half-baked and disjointed compared to their previous work.

True. It's half-baked, but I'm under impression these guys could come up with a decent album even in their sleep.

all I've heard so far is the first two songs but I gotta say I like what Ive heard so far. It makes me happy to know that Patton still comes up with good music after all those years

Anybody else noticed that the verses from the title track sound similar to the ones from Love is a Fist by Mr. Bungle?

a lot of this album sounds a lot like a lot of Patton's other projects.... a lot.

Love Patton, but album is weak as fuck sauce.

Album is a little too straight forward for Patton. Some great songs here, but it might not have lasting power due to a lot of them having catchy tunes.

baby lets play is pretty chilling

Oddfellows is okay. Tomahawk's self-titled is miles better.
