Instrumental albums are always wildly overrated IMO. But New Breed BLEW ME AWAY!

This is what I want from instrumental albums. They shift musically every 20 seconds to keep it
interesting.

"New Breed" opens up so well, but after 10 minutes it meanders a little too far and gets kind of boring.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected considering that I'm not a fan of Animals As Leaders and Scale the Summit have very little replay value for me.

Best thing about this - none of that asstastic keyboard sound that DT and most other modern prog bands feel is an
obligatory part of every freaking tune.

Just started to listen to this, pretty badass.



:edit: the riffs rule so hard.



Drumming is kickass as well.



Guitar tone is fine as well.



:edit: Gets a bit monotone in the 2nd half, guess this won't be a 5.



:edit: Feels tiresome toward the end, like rehashed DT. This gets a 3.5 at the most.

On the first song, and I'm honestly not very impressed.
