From about 2003-2006, some friends and I were of the horrendously immature opinion that if it wasn't metal or punk of some form, it wasn't worth checking. Indie rock was probably the genre most quickly brushed aside due to my then hatred of the post-punk/garage rock revival that was sweeping the UK at the time.
In short, I was a dick and deprived myself of a lot of amazing music for too long. This album is fucking excellent and joins the long list of things I wish I'd checked many years ago.
