Great album, but the follow-up is even greater.

Hey, this ain’t no pop group… what gives? Misleading
do I prefer the one after this? Yep definitely an oddity, plenty weird, sometimes interesting yet also annoyingly obtuse at times. Bookends went pretty hard though. I prefer it when they increase the intensity a little.

Communicate from the follow-up is fire. Possibly the most impactful first glance of any track of this or that album.
Okay, they've earnt another run, because I could go either way here. I get the feeling it'll be hard for the 'whole' to stick here, but select cuts do intrigue. Guess we'll see.

yeah, I don't like the one after this. Communicate aside it just doesn't hold my interest.
I prefer the more abstract themes of this and the sound is easier to get lost in, even if some parts do admittedly escape my grasp. The typical anti-establishment punk schtick of 'How Much Longer' just doesn't appeal and the vox are distracting.

I held off rating because I wanted to believe and thought things might take a turn for the better tect (also, I have issues pulling the 'trigger' until I've saved up like 15 releases or something, but let's go with the initial reasoning)
I lost my pass down the back of the sofa, so no can do I'm afraid
