I'm gonna milk this. So, why do you think they are being featured? Surely you have some inkling towards why it may be happening.

Inkling = promoting some of 2012's biggest albums to summarize the year.
I'm more curious about the means to it, though. I noticed a lot of the releases have been reviewed in the last day or two, and I'm just wondering if particular people were asked to cover certain material for this time period.

Well, Nick (Iai) last year bumped out a few late reviews, so I think he's just a busy guy. And the others are just you know, reviews for the year. I don't think there's a correlation.

Ahhhh. This is an EP from November with less than 100 ratings, and NOT one of the year's biggest releases. If you look, that review you think you saw is probably that other one... from the 20th Nov.

You know Sputnik. Just take potsy for example, he rates things 3-4s and then starts saying things like they're "indie cunt garbage". Sputnik is like a maniac with an incredible hormonal imbalance, never knowing what it wants.
