First season is considerably weaker than 2 and 3 and I will be the first to admit that.

Theres still some gems in season one, Episodes 3, 6, 9, and 10 are all top tier.



The first season was also saddled with being based on the book, everything after that is completely original material and shit really goes off the rails, and the show was already weird to begin with.

🔥One🔥, old 🐐 time

two weeks later but Egarran it honestly eases up on the depressing shit a little and gets mind blowing going into the second season, and the third season is just ups the insanity right until the very last episode. A lot of very absurdist humor is in those last two seasons as well.



There is still an underlying sadness to the whole thing, but honestly I think Breaking Bad and GoT are more depressing when it comes to character deaths. Not to spoil anything but The Leftovers doesn’t really have a lot of that.
