Not sure if reviewer knows what vibrato is.

Great review, pos'd. I'm psyched to check this out; I actually like "To Our Forefathers" quite a bit. This sounds better from your review.

Both are bad so don't know why you're bothering to make that statement.
So much wanking on this album, holy fuck.

Pretty interesting mix. Not a fan of the way the vocals are carried on (no real direction, all over the
place), reminds me of Woe, Is Me's vocals on Number[s]. An acquired taste I guess. The guitar work is
nice though, and the songs are overall enjoyable. Retainer Sacrifice in particular is great.
|
| |
this is pretty fun. I can see it getting boring after a while though
|
| |
A less consistent Protest The Hero with considerably more wankery. That is how I view this.
That said, I like Hangin' On.

I've heard the 'worse Protest The Hero' comparison several times for these guys. I've only heard a few PTH songs, but I don't really think they sound that alike.
|
| |
Not really sure how to explain why they sound alike to me. They just kinda do lol.

PTH have progressive song structure than these guys

I couldn't really get into PTH. I forget what it was, but something about them turned me away.

I can't exactly pin down why...but I don't like this at all.

Maybe it's the contrived wankery for the sake of wankery and the direction-less vocals.
