yeah, all the cuts on this rule and have the band's best songwriting. The ONLY issue is that it doesn't have tracks on the T R A N S C E N D E N T A L level of Hexagram or Riviere.

Agreed hard. But you can't have it all... Plus SNW and the s/t are a couple of their more inconsistent releases.

I think What Happened To You? Is a top 3 Deftones song though

wth is good about it? i mean it's not a bad song but it's pretty standard deftones. most of the songs on the album are better than it

It's really beautiful... idk if it's the best song on the album but it's up there.

This album's like Diamond Eyes but bigger, fatter, chunkier and better.

Diamond Eyes is Meshuggah-lite front to back.

I'd give that title to Around The Fur.

There was a time where I would fully agree with someguest, but tbh around the fur fell off for me. Still enjoy the record, but it dips into "samey" territory a bit idk

Diamond Eyes has too much of the heavy stuff and not enough of the pretty stuff. [2]

Koi No Yokan, in comparison, is quite transcendent.

I thought Diamond Eyes struck a pretty good balance for their sound. This is definitely better though. It's basically an expansion of everything that made Diamond Eyes good.
