"i just dont think lotr is very good"

That's fine but the way you approach comes off more as a rant towards people liking and their taste, which is further supported by bringing up "overrated" and "overhyped", as if their status matters

just focus on the fucking thing, who cares if people like them or not

Eh I kinda over did it with that since I grew up with those movies so I'm pretty biased, but I can see why people wouldn't like 'em

i never saw any of them til a few years ago, it was fun cause i was with my friends and smoking and drinking but i can't imagine watching them on my own

they're not awful movies, there is much much MUCH worse out there. there's a lot i can appreciate with LOTR, namely the setdessing special fx etc

Yeah, their length really scared me away when I first heard about it, I only saw them because my dad took me too them since he couldn't leave me anywhere else and he thought I might enjoy it, I did, namely because at the time pretty things were what entertained me

I guess they really sank in with me, I hardly watch movies anymore but I watch these often, so my nostalgia glasses probably reach more than they should.

Human centipede is a fun movie, awful, but fun.

All my erased memories of this movie are now coming back.

Thank you.
