I'm kinda disappointed that he abandoned IDM almost completely in favor of Nu Jazz/Fusion, I wanted him to expand on his own sound more but maybe I'll just have to get used to the change

Okay I'm on my third listen and I'm liking it more
I'm still disappointed at his change of sound but his new style is not too bad, a little too uneventful though but when it gets going it's pretty nice

i disagree completely, i think this sound is superb. i love the jazz bits (especially tesla), and it contains some of his best songs (coronous, never catch me, dead man's tetris)

The only disappointment was that nothing really topped Never Catch Me, but other than that, I think it's superb too

i've seen a few people say (and not just on here) that kendrick can't keep on that song and i think that's just flat-out wrong. and yah i suppose the album doesn't have as many 'highlights' because most of the songs are very short, but it's easy to sit through and works very well as a whole

I like every short track builds up to Never Catch Me and everything changes after that. I think Kendrick does a great job and TND couldn't have put it better in his video
