It’s hard to justify the gargantuan runtime. There’s so much empty space here. So many nondescript sound collages. The juice is perhaps just not worth the squeeze.

this album does feel over-ambitious, I agree that Swans Are Dead is superior to this, Soundtracks is not at all coherent, its a bricolage of a record
but the juice of it is elevated to a higher level on The Seer/To Be Kind/The Glowing Man, the perfect trilogy of albums ever recorded

hmm tect is a bit slow at the mo, likely too many sleepless night worry about his foot issue
...been like this for a good while now unfortunately, I survived the initial wave of avpocalyspe but it was hungry for more and sacrifices were made.
