With the exception of 'Cat Food,' this is basically 'In the Court 2.0', except much, much worse. It's embarrassing to say the least. Blatant self-plagiarism.
Bad Sinfield lyrics all over this album and the 'Peace' songs, if you can call them that, are ridiculous. 'The Devil's Triangle' is long, forgettable, and laughably bad. Some real desperate attempts to fill up space on the record.
Even the album art is ridiculous. Look the expressions on the faces. The girl in the top left looks at you saying 'Oh I know it's a near exact copy of the first album, but please buy it.' Then you got the guy on the left gloating, the smug fucker in the bottom corner, and the strung out junkie in the top corner. Even she knows this is a clone of the first record.
Skip this and get Lizard instead.

album has terrible structure tbh but some of the best KC tracks here like T/T and cadence and cascade

a ripoff of one of the best classic prog albums is still a good album though ;)

It's one of KC's best.
Weird to think that back when this came out it was universally (well, at least critically) considered a significant improvement over In the Court...

"album has terrible structure tbh"
To be honest this album's structure makes more sense than In the Court's structure of one heavy face-melting track followed by consistently serene atmospheric tracks broken up by a shitty improv. This may not feel as cohesive but it definitely feels more balanced.

Well the case for this one is that it has 3 useless tracks (Peace), and then Devil's Triangle sounds like an intro except it goes for 11 minutes and is put in the latter half of the album

I wouldn't call the Peace tracks useless at all, in fact I think they give the album a certain character and atmosphere that I'd miss if they weren't there. As for The Devil's Triangle, that's one of their more interesting improvs and it shits all over Moonchild that's for sure.

I could do without the first Peace. The second one is a brief guitar segue that is a nice little interlude that shouldn't offend anyone who doesn't have a phobia of acoustic guitars -- if it hadn't been given its own title, then it wouldn't even attract that much attention.
The album is worth it for "Cat Food" alone. Very creative work there.

I like the peace interludes myself, but 3 of them are a bit much for an album that isn't even 50 minutes long imho. Kind of agree with Devil's Triangle as well as I'm not a fan of Moonchild either, but it's still relatively uneventful for a 11 minute track

Lol he's not here nearly long enough to warrant a ban. He's more a novelty user that appears for one comment once a month xD
