What style are they? Might give em a go once I'm finished jamming Klinghoffer and Frusciante which will probs be a while.

Yeah but just generally I don't care much for guitar in any music, Fru's an exception cos he destroys.

Yeah I know that's probs blasphemy to a lot of people on Sput but apart from Fru and Gilmour and maybe some others guitar does nothing for me, it's all about vocals, lyrics, emotion and atmosphere which is why I dig this so much.

i totally get what you mean man, technicality is only interesting to me when the emotion is right there with it

i love cool riffs too though they are good fun but yeah i get ya

pretty fitting you naming gilmour and frusciante as your faves, two dudes who are completely at one with their instrument and basically make it talk/scream/sing

Yeah man they rip it up. Not many performers can hold my attention with an instrumental that's over like 3 minutes but Before the Beginning is a gem.

yeah before the beginning is magical, he recorded it as a 'tribute' to maggot brain which is also just wow

he has so many gorgeous instrumental guitar tracks

with love
ramparts
falling

just to name a few

Yeah man didn't even know the guy and I teared up like a little girl. Frusciante seems like a really cool guy.
