I think it sounds more chaotic on the older stuff, mostly cause it's sloppier and has more lo-fi production.

shit this came out in 2003 according to google play and 2007 according to sputnik. either way I probably did see them play. This definitely seems like a band that would have played Pinkeye or the other underground venues that existed back at that time.

Such an underrated/overlooked gem. The dissonant and sludgy rhythm reminds me of Gorguts' Obscura but in mathcore format.
