And I thought flyleaf didn't have any fans...

And I didn't say there was a lack of screaming, I just meant it felt forced (and seriously there isn't that much of it)

I'm not doing a track by track and I don't have to mention any tracks, coz reviewing the album as a whole

Pop riffs? WTF? And yeah the drumming is extremely generic no doubt about that.

I admittedly didn't pay as much attention to the lyrics, but I'd deffinitely mention something if it felt worth mentioning

And lol smooth song transition and lack of filller

Last paragraph...

All in all it’s a spiritual journey, that will you have rethink your life

There's a word switch that needs to happen there. Nice review, will pass on this one.

She doesn't sound annoying except for when she says "new horizons" in New Horizons (which you praised), and I'm sorry the album has no wubs. I find every song on the album enjoyable, and Green Heart was very ambitious as it is considered by many to be their most aggressive song yet, so it was quite ambitious for them. Becoming more melodic than they were originally does not make them sound any worse, but I respect that you like angry screaming.

I strongly disagree with your scoring and most of your analysis, but your review was very well written, so good job on that.

1.5 isn't mediocrity though, 1.5 is very poor. Mediocrity is 2-2.5. And review reads 2-2.5

"Momento Mori" was too Jesus-y. The self-titled album was good (the self-titled EP was better), but since then, they've been trying way too hard.

The album is nowhere near as bad as the review makes it out to be.

I have to agree with Disgusted.

The album is not that bad. I think it's a good album. In the end taste for music is subjctive.

The review is bad. I've already read a lot of good quality reviews here and this isn't one of them. One thing is not liking the band and/or the album. Other thing is writing a review. There's a lot of well written reviews for bad albums. Here happens exactly the opposite: a bad review for a album that's good. Not a master piece, but it is indeed a nice album.

Awful thread.

Album is decent, but the first two are a lot better.
