Well I lead a mostly unfortunate and especially unremarkable life so at least it's consistent.

yeah TPAB is better as an idea than as a set of songs I think lol. this is the one I'll listen to most easily

shame he didn't finish some of the clearly superior songs on untitled unmastered and put em on TPAB instead but

some of these tracks have been so overplayed that they've lost a lot of their charm but i'd be clownin to pretend that swimming pools and bitch don't kill my vibe for instance didn't make me turn the fuck up the year this came out

no single track off TPAB ever became as quintessential to my social life as any of the shit on here or section.80

maybe thats just circumstantial but also maybe it's indicative of something...

butt.

Alright from TPAB has absolutely been quintessential in my social life ever since it came out, more than any other Kendrick track I think

this is what I'm talking about, imagine putting King Kunta on your album instead of Blue Faces, which basically fulfills the same function but is an immensely superior song that actually contributes to the themes TPAB is concerned with instead of being a song that's angry about ghostwriters or w/e

....I like Alright tho. Hood Politics on the other hand is indeed fucking terrible

i associate king kunta with an especially unsavory fellow in my past so part of my hatred for it probably stems fromt that

its got a nice swagger in the beat and the biddies make the song feel so not serious whereas the rest of the album is a bit too much. its also got that radiohead vibey guitar that gives it a unique feel

Black Boy Fly is fantastic and subs in nicely for Real. hits the same emotional beats without the godawful hook
