I didn't mean "make up" in the sense that you interpreted it. what I meant was the immaturity of those
tracks is never balanced out by introspective tracks, which really just makes this album amount to an
immature but catchy album. This album's concept is banal and simplistic "what doesn't kill you makes
you stronger/ the unique person you are", I get that the concept isn't him trying to "make up" for his
17 year old self, the concept is just kinda boring and not very clever.
