I just have one of their albums, Daylight Breaking. It's pretty good. Here's a couple of good songs from it for a starting point if you want.

As requested, some constructive feedback:
sub genres
*sub-genres
This list goes on and on
It seems rather counter-productive to talk about the endless sub-genres of metal then go off to only list two and say "well there's many more but I won't talk about them". Rather than giving specific examples just elaborate on why metal has so many sub-genres as then tie it into the album at hand. Makes for a much tidier intro.
there’s another metal genre that’s more than worth checking out. Folk metal.
Folk metal has been around for many years now. One could argue that Skyclad was the first folk metal band and they have been around since 1990.
Let me start by saying folk metal is not for everybody. It’s likely to please fans of melodic metal, but others may not find it to be aggressive enough.
It is kind of counter-productive to immediately state "well there is a good chance you won't like this genre I just tried to sell you on".
Although the Switzerland band
*Although this Swiss band
and I’ve honestly had it stuck in my head for over a week.
Asides like this take away from the professionalism of the review and also add very, very little to its quality.
The song flows incredibly smoothly.
How so? Paint a picture in our minds about what the song is like and what makes it so smooth and memorable. Make it vivid, because you are attempting to describe music with words, which is quite a daunting task.
giving the song a feeling of epic proportions.
Again, a bit more elaboration here.
It might be sung in Gaelic
Might be? You're the reviewer - you're supposed to be the expert here. Find out for sure.
(quite interesting if you ask me)
Another relatively worthless aside.
but at least we know there are some outstanding bands in the genre.
What do you mean by this? You seem to imply there are other bands as good as Eluveitie but don't mention any or elaborate on what this has to do with this album. A poor way to end your concluding paragraph.

The review just needs more focus and more complete descriptions of what the music is. Also wrapping it up in a nice intro and conclusion can do wonders. As it stands the review seems to describe individual songs, so try to change that to describing the album as a whole while using specific songs as examples to illustrate your points.

You are? lol I won't be able to edit it until later tonight though.

Hey I checked out a few songs and liked them but I get easily distracted lol. My bad I'll check out the full album tonight

I definitely dug them but I've been in a thrash mood lately. I've gone through damn near 100 thrash albums on one of Kills lists

Finally jammed this after years of bullshitting and holy fuck I almost wanna insta-5 tbh. It's like a folk version of Dark Tranquillity which is never a bad thing. m/

The problem I have with these guys is that they don't do anything better than other bands for me. Okay, songwriting is p cool sometimes, but every time I hear these guys, I just wanna listen to Kalmah or something. Not sure why. They are like an awesome version of CoB without those obnoxious out-of-place keyboards
