It's way more of a grower than Given to the Rising, not as forward. The last half of the album is where it's at.

Personally, I dig this album, but not to he point where I will mindlessly trash talk those who don't.
Besides, even though I liked it, there is way better thrash/death metal that came out this year such as the new Kreator, Testament, Ne Obliviscaris, ETC.
