I love how so many people forget this is an internet forum. It you take any of the hostility directed at you seriously or personally, you only have yourself to blame.

5 classic

Amon Amarth Versus the World

An amazing melodic piece. It isn't completly original, but everything fits together so well that I have to call it a classic.

Between the Buried and Me Alaska

Definitely their defining album. The lineup just changed, and came out the other side better then ever. Tracks like Selkies, All bodies, Backward Marathon, and Autodidact are easily some of their best.

Children of Bodom Hatebreeder

Cryptopsy None So Vile

I found a Brutal Death metal album that I can call a classic

Death The Sound of Perseverance

Death is one of those bands that improves with every album until they released their last which I consider their greateast, if not one of the greatest death metal albums of all time.

Decapitated Nihility

Every song is amazing, with such well timed solo's and amazing riffs. Probably my favorite death metal band as of right now.

DevilDriver The Last Kind Words

Every song is perfect or close to it, cant see myelf ever rating this lower than 5 classic.

Extol Synergy

A very interesting change in Extol's style that I found myself loving every step of the way.

In Flames Clayman

My favorite In Flames album. Every song is so well written and quite catchy with their pop influences being shown. Howerer, it is nowhere near as overwhelming as their next two albums would be and is quite near flawless for the melodeath genre.

In Mourning Shrouded Divine

After 5 or so listens I found out how truly mindblowing this album is.

Lamb of God Ashes Of The Wake

Metallica Ride The Lightning

The Agonist Prisoners

Solid album all the way through, definitely their best.

Trivium Shogun

Trivium creates their best album so far. Every song is consistently technically proficient, and contain most of their best riffs of their career. Solo's are not super often, which is good, because than it may seem like they are trying too hard. When you come across one, they are so well written and are quite different from most other metal core bands.

Trivium Ascendancy

Zao The Funeral of God

Zao Liberate Te Ex Inferis

A very dark album, that I consider the heaviest album I have yet to find. Pure emotion and anger are displayed with some simple yet amazing riffs that are so haunting. My personal favorite album of all time.

well this explains it ^^^^

I was at a festival and Trivium were playing. I turned around and bought nachos instead.
