Agreed ^
Hell, even Spiritual Healing slays hard and that’s mostly considered to be their weakest release m/

For me TSOP is their weak point, but it's mostly because of the vocal style that i'm not very fond of. SH is pretty dope actually, though arguably the only Death album, that brought nothing really new to the table

Damn I fuckin love TSOP, once I got used to the vox (which I now love) I think it’s one the best metal albums ever.

Does one ‘grow out’ of death metal or become bored of it?
To check I played this and had to turn it up loud as fuck cos it’s so good. The riff bit on ‘See Through Dream’ m/
Was told to turn it down and had to cos the wife had the hump m/

Not sure if I’ll ever “grow out” of DM. I get periods where I won’t play it much, other times it’s all that I listen to. It’s a genre I always keep coming back to.

The only person I've known to "grow out" of death metal is someone who got addicted to meth and now only listens to certain kinds of stoner metal.
Other than that, I don't think most people do. I know I don't, even though I've listened to death metal (almost) exclusively for the past few years.
