I just played those two songs. I am going to play mt. Diablo next. I really just got around to hearing this album for just the energy and conviction and when this came out.
I remember people being all like Strike Anywhere is the next best shouty punk band god this is sooo long ago. They were fine but I felt like they fizzled and of course I like 88fl and Rise Against eras. But this album is a easy 4. It never feels like it gets boring and is just like yeah let's go the whole time.

Started getting back into Rise Against and man I love them even more now than I did when I was a kid. Sufferer and the Witness really is a hard 5. Perfect hard rock/punk album, and super accessible to where everyone can enjoy it.

My favorite Rise Against album no question is Revolutions per Minute. After that I dabbled a little. I am open to other opinions it's just yea that was so perfect at the time.

Also yeah of course there was a bit of me where they were getting softer and commercial , but yea I am so old now and cynical-er but I am not on the internet to argue very angrily. Siren Song was neat, it had some solid songs. Just they weren't my savior anymore.
