I find this quite enjoyable. Not as good as the thrash stuff, but I think the average should be a tiny bit higher, maybe like a 3.2-3.3

Yeah, it has some pretty underrated moments. But to me, The Gathering is pretty much the fully realized version of the death/thrash mix found here
