The bass on this recalls In Rainbows sometimes, and the influence is there, but yeah Alt-J have a different songwriting style.
And yeah this is definitely their best.

Me and my roommates jammed this hard back in college. Love it so much.
I'd give it time to grow yeah. Taro, Matilda, and Something Good are some of the prettiest songs they've ever written. Plus Fitzpleasure, Tessellate, and Breezeblocks are such excellent and weirdly visceral singles.
