Death and power metal are subgenres of metal, but that doesn't mean they are comparable. Bringing DA into a Refused review and comparing them to Defeater and Pianos Become the Teeth is weird.
Not to be entirely pedantic or anything. It's actually a good review. But that part seemed out of nowhere.

I agree with the rating, but a lot of this review is factually inaccurate. I don't want to get into a whole thing about when DAY ONE for post-hardcore was, but putting it after 1983 is wrong, try again.
You should listen to The Nation of Ulysses and Born Against and then realize that this album is a combination of those two bands, but expanded upon. In a good way.

i like how the review is being ridiculously tongue in cheek but still doesn't come close to the dorkiness of the genuine reviews for this
