they're probably the best new mdm band, but that's not really much of an accomplishment when you have
shit factories like scar symmetry and soilwork stagnating the genre

haven't heard scar symmetry. tried a song by soilwork earlier today and wasn't overly impressed.
also @ ecnalzen, I don't mind a couple atreyu songs but they can't be compared to early in flames haha. they are basically a worse version of a7x. a7x is one of my guilty pleasures but i haven't jammed them in 4 ever

I have their 2nd and 3rd album. There are some decent tracks. I heard they hit rock bottom pretty hard after that.
I don't mind A7x. I like 'Waken the Fallen.' 'City of Evil' is a mixed bag for me because the vocals are soooo bad. The main reason I like them is because of their guitarists, though. The singer is just not the best, but I thought he sounded decent on 'Waken the Fallen.'
