Im going to have to disagree, I thought this was their strongest album yet. The Last Thing You Forget was an okay pop punk album and lacked creativity and came off very adolescent. Shed was a transitional album but lacked stand out songs. This new album doesnt sound anything like hot water music, I hate how any band gets compared to hwm just because the vocals are gruff, i think its a cop out comparison. Theres influences of Dinosaur Jr, Codeine, and Seaweed but HWM not so much. I also think the later part of the cd is well composed Calloused is a cool poppy song, In between is an awesome meloncholy song with a cool hook. Overall, I think this was an awesome follow up and cant wait to see where they go from here.
