Yeah, I couldn't imagine any of those guys singing A7X. Those are just the vocal styles I prefer.
In live songs have Shadows' clean vocals changed now that they got rid of the screaming, or do they sound the same as before? Like, for older songs. This Message Edited On 05.17.06

Does anyone know if they made a Waking The Fallen tab book?

I doubt it.
Why don't you just use MX Tabs?

I listened to city of evil before ever hearing waking the fallen and at first I didn't care for the screaming in waking the fallen but it somehow grew on me. I wont say it's better than city of evil but they are close to equal in my book. Although waking the fallen does have one song I can't listen to. I won't see you tonight part 2 is awful. Just an opinion cause I'm bored and got nothin' better to do

I like "I Won't See You Tonight Part 2." In fact, I like every song on this album, and only under those circumstances do I give an album a 5/5.

He re-wroe the vocals lines to be harsher for the screaming, if you listen to there cover of Walk it's those type of vocals.

I disagree. IMO, The screaming does more harm then good. It's painfully annoying to listen to and really take away from the music. City of Evil was much more enjoyable to listen to for me.

That is dumb. Solos add to a song and sound nice too. Although in this case i prefer WTF because of the better vocals and although they aren't as techniqual the guitars sound cool. This Message Edited On 06.28.06

Liking WtF or CoE more is purely taste. I tend to like WtF slightly more because of the decent clean vocals. But then again, I've only heard like three CoE songs (Bat Country, Burn it Down, Sieze the Day). This Message Edited On 06.28.06

solos of any kind takes away from the music purity
Um, no? BTW, there's plenty of solos on Waking the Fallen, so wouldn't that make it musically unpure? Yet it gets a 5?
Contradictions FTW

That's the dumbest thing I've read in all my years of reading.

There's nothing wrong with this album (IMO). It's one of my favorites, but if you feel that solos take away musical purity you certainly shouldn't feel that this album's a classic. I agree with what you said about CoE, however, just not the sellout part. They didn't sell out. This Message Edited On 07.14.06

That's where the IMO comes into play. I like the vocals on this album.

This album is amazing. Chapter Four is my fave off this.

You shouldn't base your album rating on wether they're arrogant or not. A band can be arrogant and still make good music. It has already been said many times that they are arrogant so could we stop making comments about that. It doesn't have anythng to do with their music.
