This album isn't mediocre, not at all!

It's downright awful. The vocalist sucks, the drumming sucks, the guitars suck, the lyrics suck even more. I'm pretty sure this doesn't has any redeeming qualities.

It's fun just not something that sticks.

Of course breakdowns are a good guitar technique, the problem with this bands is that they implement
breakdowns everywhere & their breakdowns are usually very amateurish binary codes, Suicide Silence is
not bad; they are above average for their respective genre. Suffocation, Broken Hope, Cryptopsy etc do
use breakdowns but they are not a major part of their sound, deathcore is in it's true nature a one-
dimensional genre when it comes to the guitar-department, traditional deathcore at least.

The point is that however death metal shares an aesthetic with deathcore you can't say that aesthetic makes the deathcore band a death metal band. (which is what you said based on your comment and response). I never tried to "convince you" that Mitch vocals weren't incredible, wtf? I just said I thought they were just "good" and linked you to a vocalist I consider "better".
