The biggest thing about this album is that it actually sounds like the band is holding back. Like they are consciously not being as awesome as they can be for the sake of not being FoT.

putting people on pedestals like that and not looking at the product itself will close you off on a lot of good music. Just cause he's shown that he can play more technically doesn't mean he has to or everything else he makes isn't as good imo

I was pretty bored with this band's first LP, but this record is actually pretty awesome. Didn't know if Thomas Erak still had this in him after the disaster which was The Fall of Troy's final LP.
