undo you might be the only track on here that i would not give a full 5/5 to. still its a nice soothing number that prepares us for the greatest hattrick song combo to outro any album this side of ocean machine in Lethean, First Prayer and Dead Letters. Every. Single. Song. Is. Glorious.

Lethean provides a more traditional rock number with an absolutely amazing guitar solo and a rumbling double kick drum section that fades out. perfection.

First Prayer jams along on some angular time signatures before errupting into one of the hypest instrumental sections in its second half. Headbang city right there.

Dead Letters closes off the record with a heavy and harrowing intro which glides seemlessly into a groovy af chorus and another incredibly hype instrumental bridge that induces stank face without fail. The song closes off the album on a fairly sudden offbeat outro that leaves you wanting to spin the record again right away.

Interesting to see this records get so much love nowadays. I used to feel like most people had dismissed this band. This band has only got better imo.

The Act of Darkening might just be one of my favorite Katatonia songs. Such a beautiful, haunting tune

And speaking of the Act of Darkening, that ending reeks so much of Steven Wilson I had to recheck the booklet to see if the man himself was credited there. Great song though.
