I already noticed their existence a while ago and thought I might like them, but never really found the motivation to give them a real try. Since the new album is on its way and the first single out of it kinda grew on me, I might be ready to get into them now. So any suggestions how to start? Which album? As mentioned, I like Schema and I Felt Free is also very nice. Didn't listen to much more up to this point.

Gotta start with Juturna IMO. Just go chronologically.

Is it a general consent that Juturna is one of their better records? Really not sure since I don't want the motivation for giving them a chance to fade away if it bores me when the rest might be better. But well, gotta try it.

I'd go chronologically like dude suggested. Thats my normal method when listening to a band for the first time.

i just don't understand why the general consensus is blue sky is their best, it has some of their most filler stuff

I mean there's only one song I dislike on BSN but even so Juturna trumps it

all of their albums trump it tbh. don't get me wrong, i enjoy listening to the album, but that dreamy, melancholic atmosphere on on letting go is unparalleled and too many people write it off as 'boring'. when i'm in the right headspace for it it's so good. blue sky seems more like a hodgepodge of different ideas, some of which are brilliant and others that are sort of eh

i wish this got more love, because it's criminally underrated on here

hodgepodge is how I feel about On Letting Go to be honest, at its best it's them at their very best but it's sooo flat at points
