Everyone already knows everything about this album when it comes to sound and stuff so that's why I thought the first paragraph was really fun.

This album was like a gateway drug. Introduced me to the world of metal with it's hypnotic riffs. Sad that In Flames only had like 4 total quality releases following that.



A band that promised so much, yet..couldn't live up to the unrealistic expectations that people had.

No, I dont think that was the problem. They simply sold-out and started making alternative metal, its not like they kept on making MDM in a lower quality.
