spare how have you lasted this long on sputnik if you get upset when people criticise music you like? at least im being fair and saying i will give it another chance to see if my opinion might be changed. all this is is a discussion.

i'm not like, hating on you having opinions. i'm just bothered by the way you're like "i'm not gonna even listen to this album unless someone tells me the rest of the album is gonna be like x rather than y." you can listen to the album and find out, then hate it, give it a 1 and be like oh fuck yeah ok you gave that shit a try and you thought it was crap. or you can make a judgement that you won't like the record, and don't listen to it. and that's cool too.
for the record, the rest of the album is a mixture of both track 1 and track 2. cuz that's what the band sounds like. nawmsayan

i didnt say im not gonna even listen to it unless someone tells me etc... i said twice that i will give it another shot. was just curious in hearing how others felt the later songs compared to the first few. bit of a time saver. all part of the discussion. im on track 6 now and so far i think all the songs are pretty much a lot better than track 1, which is good.

american football and mineral are totally dif bands man. this is more the quiet, contemplative, clean record. it takes time. mineral's more the cathartic, in your face, oh yeah this is obviously EMOOOOOOTIONALLLLLLLLL type band
