Devil May Cry 4 is the best in the series imo, I loved the settings, the characters, the music, it was near perfection imo, just a bit too short and redoing some of the levels with Dante instead of Nero was kind of a drag. The new DmC wasn't bad, people were just REALLY butthurt about how the creators edged up Dante (which seeing the butthurt almost made it worth it tbh)

Fucked up Dante and Vergil's character, the gameplay was incredibly boring, it was aesthetically bland, and the music was so cringey at parts. Not to mention the story was absolute dogshit, plus all the hand holding the game did
