"The more I listen, the better it gets. Getting easier to ignore the bad deathcore sections."

There's something wrong with this

this band has been awful from the beginning...don't really expect anything less than terrible.

The deathcore chugga-chuggas are pretty bad. It's too bad that to enjoy the album you kind of have to sit through them to wait for the pretty parts.

This is the best review yet for this album. Definitely a bit of a letdown. They should have stuck to who they are. This album just seems like they tried to do something that would be impressive, but it's not. It's just overall pretty inconsistent and obvious that they didn't really know what they were doing.

They should have stuck to what they did on Exoplanet and progressed from there rather than trying to leap to this.

I just find the ambient sections boring and the deathcore sections annoying. But I guess somebody has to like it.

The metal parts are what make it good.

holomovement is actually one of their best songs to date simply because his cleans work so well.

Pitch corrected/autotuned vocals automatically kill any heavy band for me.

I think Holomovement is one of the best songs on this because it's actually pretty well written, apart from the heavy part pretty much comes from nowhere

I actually can get in to Cynic, mainly because it's so overdone that it almost comes off as synth rather than actual vocals to me.

PurpleDino seems to always have the correct opinion on this album. Couldn't agree more about Holomovement.

Perhaps it's hindsight bias, but I was recall being rather excited to hear the rest of the album after listening to the first few.

That comment was hard to understand. You mean the album started off well?

While 4.5 may be a high rating for this, an overall of 3.6 is somewhat crazy. "Apparition" has a

better rating.
