The grandfather thread is filled with my comments, I thanked you many times for introducing me to that album, it has appeared on several of my lists (and two times it was coupled with you) and:

5 classic

Tigers on Trains Grandfather

I was really having issues with review-writing earlier, and so I decided to read through this review to help give me some ideas. I gotta say, man, it helped me a lot as well as piqued my interest in these guys. I don't know if this is my kinda thing at all, but I may have to take your word for it, Sowing.

Is it possible that Republic of Wolves opened for Emery once? If so I saw them about a year ago live, although it's definitely possible I'm thinking of someone else.

Atlas Cedars is really starting to win my approval too. Easily my second favorite behind Mont Venoux.

Thanks Omaha, I'm glad this review inspired you.

Brilliant follow up album, really.

When you consider Grandfather is a masterpiece of folk, it was always going to be hard to top. They almost did, but falls a little short.

Still an AOTY contender so far though.
