Once Twice Melody is shaping up to challenge Bloom for my favorite Beach House ever.

I've always wondered what exactly happens at 0:43 of Other People. her voice just completely blends with the rest of the instrumental to the point where it's all just one congealed thing. that whole verse sounds so cool sonically. I'm not an expert but it sounds like they shortened the attack on the reverb so it hits right away? wish she would sing like this again on their newer stuff

also on On The Sea when she says "out on the sea we'd be forgiven" when she says "forgiven" it's like "forgivEeEeEn" it's like the entire mix exists in this big ball of sound and her voice is like shooting all around the perimeter of it before returning to the center again. idk what effect they would use to achieve that or if it's just some weird thing she can do with her voice that she hasn't done since for some very sad reason
