It worked fine on Collapse, he just tried too hard to shove the whole "coal miner" aspect in, instead of just having it be straight-up black metal/folk.

haven't listened to taake in a long time, especially his new efforts seemed to become increasingly "meh" - fittingly with the rapid increase in stupid taake fangirls/-boys on every metal concert spouting their 'knowledge'.
