Of the albums in their discography, this is by far the best Agonist record. Tons of replay value and it boasts strong compositions overall. With tracks such as Ideomotor and Dead Ocean present, I feel like the band got pretty much everything right on here. Since Alissa left, they've been losing their edge. Much as I could find something to like about Eye of Providence, can't say the same about the weak sauce contraption that is Five. Vicky's vocals are terrible.

never realized how amazing this is. the only thing i dont like is the cleans when alissa goes full on in tracks like "the escape", they are best when used more softly in tracks like ideomotor

Yeah, I wanted to hear more of her in another band since she was ousted from this but nothing I have heard from AE has really grabbed me yet. She still sounds great but the music was way better here
