This is fantastic, very well executed prog/post that isn’t afraid to step outside of the usual well-trodden stylistic staples of the genre. The concept is crushing as well, heart-breaking tbh.

Yeah I love this, the album flows so well, the tracks just seamlessly bleed into one another and nothing overstays it’s welcome.

The flow and transition of these tracks into one another is incredible. Easy thing to say given their over-arching influence, but I can hear some strong Neurosis elements in this. At the end of it all this has enough individuality to shine through mind.

Couldn't have said it better. Maybe I was more inclined to chase numbers back in the day, but I would still give an album I enjoyed many spins to properly enjoy it. I can't sprint through music just for the sake of it

Can't believe I've only just listened to this. I would've gobbled it right up 5 years or so ago. Will probably bump it up to 4.5 eventually anyway. What an album.
