Congratulations on yet another feature Greg. Haven't you thought about becoming a Contributor?

I tried to play the beta and it fried my graphics card (not joking)
Was your graphics card like 8 years old? I believe it requires like a GeForce 7xxx series or a Radeon
X19xx series card, which I had back in like 2004. Or was it a cooling issue?

Must check this out.

the production is a little iffy on this but it's not bad

The production admittedly could have been better on this album. I'm not a huge fan of this warm, crisp sound. This is a minor issue though.

Looks cool, album art reminds me of The Grey.
Edit: Forgot this had an older metal styling for a second, given a quick listen this is not for me.

Really liked Hammer of the North so will be checking this out.

Remember liking Iron Will a while back, I'll have to check this out.

The trio once again has delved into accessible heavy metal that abounds with soaring, ultra-melodic vocals and infectious, driving guitar riffs. By now it seems that oppressive doom metal of their early offerings is long gone in favour of a more streamlined, not to mention traditional approach to song craft that has plenty in common with the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and the seventies' output of Judas Priest.
That'll do it for me. Have another well-earned pos ;)

This album has me moderately interested

Son of the Last Breath is my jam right now.

Your a damn good reviewer Greg. I couldn't stand the one song I heard off this.

Great review; went out and picked that shit up! We agree on Dawnbringer and Grand Magus, they don't change the formula much but they do it so well so who cares.

Great review. Pos.

Thanks a bunch everybody for all your kind words.
@KeepOneStepAhead:
Yeah. Definitely this and the new Dawnbringer LP complement each other and make for a great double 'heavy metal revival' listen. More people need to check this stuff out.

Yeah. Son of the Last Breath may be their best song so far.
