Most metalcore bands these days play in one tuning, that's not always a bad thing but for the most part that's the truth and it's a pretty fucking stupid thing to argue about.

Well actually I've learned Alpha Omega and it's in C# or Db (I dont like flats so I always use sharps) but yeah. These Colours Don't Run is in the special tuning with it being drop b with the lowest B being a G#. Which is the same tuning as on Early Grave

And yeah on the topic of tunings - I love that Architects uses 2-3 tunings per album. Really switches things up for some good variance. On the mention of BtBaM every single on of their songs is in C# standard. And yes I agree that Drop C is now a boring tuning lol. ABR must switch tunings for their next album

IDK man, C is pretty heavy, even drop D can sound really heavy depending on how it's produced. Botch, Converge, The Bled, and Fear Before sounded plenty good not going below C but yeah, most metalcore bands find it trendy to tune low as possible, but Architects found a good sound with their tuning that BMTH obviously ripped off of.
