Actually ever since getting into Agalloch I've had a newfound appreciation for Orchid and Morningrise. I've always loved them, but now I understand a little better why some people like those the most. Even if I still prefer their late 90's/early 00's style

Even with Heritage in their discography, I still consider Watershed the band's black sheep because of how much it rearranged their established sound. For instance, that weird funk-sounding section in Lotus Eater or the increased emphasis on ballads. Quite a weird Opeth album, but that's why I enjoy it so much
