Yeah, it's not the best song to play at work.

I'm disappointed that I didn't like this.

Scratch that: I actually really liked disc 2 and if that were to be the entire album I probably would have 4'd this, but the first disc was so dry that it kind of felt like a chore to listen to even if the concepts were decent. The Four Horsemen was particularly lame since I feel like they could have said so much more about them instead of just revealing their horse's color and their weapon. Honestly, during the chorus I felt like I was listening to a Nursery Rhyme... :/

The apocalypse IS an amazing concept for an album though, and I thought disc 2 actually ruled. "Altamont" and "All the Seats Were Occupied" were epic and "∞" was perfect ...

but even then as a whole I really wasn't my thing, thanks for rec'ing it though MrSirLord.

Oh damn, such a shame that you didn't enjoyed this. I agree on Side 2 being better, but I think Four Horsemen is totally perfect

I was quoting lyrics from this to someone before I went to bed and I had a nightmare that the world was ending

it's hard to sit through the entire thing, but it's very pleasant.

The Lamb is definitely more interesting than good.

Album flows perfectly, 78 minutes of music feel as they're just 40 minutes. I love it when albums can manipulate time like that. Time is relative indeed.

why does this have more votes than vangelis' entire, combined non-soundtrack discography?

i mean it fucking rules but so does most of the stuff he's been involved in

Yeah this is definitely less popular than his soundtracks

I still prefer it over any of his solo work as much as I love it

Great christmas album. This time always feels slightly apocalyptic.
