Big Beast is my favorite here. Remember the first time jamming it and loving the production right away when that one came on. T.I. is in good form on that one too, really dig his early stuff but I quit following after King (but heard his albums have been lacking since) Reagan and Don't Die are close seconds, those two and Butane are a crazy 3 piece tbh

What track from this is featured in Ozark?!? That's dope and man if you like this we can find more hip hop you'd dig guaranteed

it was "untitled", i believe. he also has a cameo as himself in one of the episodes (one of the main characters is a fan of his and coincidentally meets him at a restaurant where they have like a wholesome sorta short conversation)

Nice. I'll have to check it out. I've heard really good things and I grew up going to the Ozarks so I've been meaning to give it a shot anyway

all the more reason! i've read mixed reviews, but thoroughly enjoyed the show. it's worth it for the acting alone, imo.

Ozark is good. S2 was the weak point for me. S3 and S4 are very good

As good as the best RTJ tracks i'd say

Easily better than RTJ3 too. RTJ overall doesn't do it for me nearly as much as 4 years ago, so take that with a grain of salt

i just find mike's bars so much more substantive here vs what either him or el-p do as rtj. not only that but i easily prefer this collection of beats to any of the rtj albums besides maybe 4

Probably true tho I have more nostalgia for rtj2 for some reason

RTJ2 is probably the closest one in quality. I also have nostalgia for the first one just because it was novel hearing them rap together for the first time. 3 and 4 were fine but kinda diminishing returns IMO.

I really want another El solo though, feel like that will allow him to be a bit weirder and spaced out, but we'll prolly get RTJ5 before that happens.

rtj4 felt more to me like an el-p album with a few too many killer mike verses rather than a proper rtj album. beats sound closer to cancer 4 cure than they do to any of the other 3 imo.
