I really like "Sally Slips" and that riff in "Numbers" was instantly in my head. Iunno I'm not the typical Hurt fan, I kinda like when they're heavier. I've been struggling with Vol II cuz a lot of the songs don't have much punch to them (I understand that's not the kind of band they are though)

Totally agree with you Romulus. On the Volumes you can hear the raw emotion in Loren's voice and and really is moving. It's just not the same on this album, which is really disappointing, given what Hurt is capable of. I guess the original band members really added to the songwriting, maybe like Cliff Burton-era Metallica.
