well i dont see why they would announce dan as their official vocalist and then proceed to not write anything :P but yeah i think i do recall reading somewhere a month or so ago about them writing currently. i'd say it'll be out sometime next year? i can't remember where i read it though

maeva and aurora were my favourite. stellar tracks and it really shows the chemistry between dan and the rest of the group. glad they decided to invite him on board ^^

Dan is outstanding so it's really good to hear that he'll be on board for the new stuff. He also sounds so much better on this than with TesseracT.

i agree ^ i've never been huge into tesseract. the only songs i got into were the ones that dan really took over with his vocals. songs like nascent and a few others i can't recall were the highlight for me.

i'm highly stoked for new stuff from these dudes ^^

I gave this and tesseract both 4's but this has a slighter edge. I agree that Nascent was really good specifically thanks to Dan's presence.

I met Keshav and Devesh 2 weeks ago at a Goddess Gagged show. Album is supposed to be done by the end of the year, but they're touring a bunch before then so not sure when it's going to be done.

That's good to know. I was expecting/hoping for a first half of 2014 release for it, since there's been talks of them writing and demoing. Also agree on Dan's performance on here being better than it was on One, but that might just be due to him continually improving.

Thinking of bumping this up to a 4.5, since Chaos has finally grown on me(Trayus especially), but I'm not quite sure.

that's a fair point, he practices his vocals quite a lot from what i know. clearly he would improve a ton as a result

As far as Djent goes, I think this is the closest to classic prog-metal.

I'm not a fan of Chaos either, except Trayus which grooves like a mofo.

I'll check that out when I have the chance; I just ordered this album though on amazon and it's being delivered to my door today. I'm jacked.

This is good but I think a lot of the melodies fall flat, it will be rising towards

something awesome and then take a turn that is just wtf.

Like on Maeva, most of the song is great but that "this is the last time" melody just throws the whole

flow off.
