Their best album is their debut back from 1958, but this is awesome too.

I personally think that in terms of the current wave of Indian progressive metal, Goddess Gagged > Skyharbor. Skyharbor actually recruited GG's Dev Dayal for the live lineup.

GG is pretty good, but Siddharth Basrur (while good) is not on on Tompkins' level. Dayal is certainly talented and is apparently involved in the writing of Skyharbor's next album.

Musically I prefer GG to Skyharbor but obviously both are great.

Instrumentally GG is cool and I like a lot of Devesh's lead lines and Menzies' riffs. Some of the original demos of the songs are on youtube from when GG was mostly Arman Menzies' project. It's actually pretty cool and much closer to Porcupine Tree than Protest the Hero.

I heard a demo of Visionary back in late 2010/early 2011 when The Guardian had a feature on overseas music and they were repping India. That's what got me interested and then the album came out. I had to rip it from Soundcloud though because when I tried to order the CD it took a few weeks then they put most (but not all, not probably due to the conversion rate I had to pay and the exchange rate changing) of my money back and I never saw the CD. Which left me pissed off so without an actual leak I just ripped the audio. If GG or Skyharbor ever come to the UK though I'll try to get a copy, if it's GG then I'll buy one at a show or if they're only playing a festival/Skyharbor are coming then I'll try to message one of the band's pages and try to sort something out to get a CD cos I really want one. I have this Skyharbor album, got it on CD cos my local record store didn't have the vinyl on Record Store Day.

I think the bassist is studying somewhere in the UK. Maybe if you contact him through FaceBook you might be able to get your hands on a physical CD.

I didn't initially like the Chaos portion, but Trayus grooves like a mofo.

In my journey to find what else Dan was doing I ran over this (again, just didn't know it was him
before) and Catharsis give me the chills!
Also To add to the list of Dans other workings I scimed a page back or two, he is working with another
band Omertah out of the Ukraine. Oceans is good

Daniel's vocals on this are unreal. He's so damn good but the instrumentation is somewhat lacking.
