i didnt claim to be a master on pop punk

this band just sucks at writing songs, have no variety, the singer has no unique presence or interesting melodies/hooks (and he just sounds like an 11 year old with studio layering), the entire record is brutally run of the mill/familiar and it's just not a good listen on any level

why because im discussing my opinion of the music

i gave my reasons for not liking the album, and besides making a small joke about how effeminate this shit is (though I enjoy some questionably girly stuff too) sorry its not 4.5/5 to me no need to get so mad

i can understand why some people wouldn't like this but proggy all you do is try to beat everyone to death with your opinion whenever you think something sucks

i am not talking out of my ass I;ve heard this record twice in full, recently

listen closely try to follow

the melodies and hooks are bland
the production is plastic and generic
the songs aren't interesting to listen to, the lyrics have some clever moments but are mostly poor and empty
the lead singer, most of the time does sound like a little kid trampled with studio effects, his voice is so empty and annoying

these things are my opinion of the record, I don't sound like an idiot. They are pretty much completely justifiable. I know youre mad im dissing this so any opinion against it is an idiot opinion but understand the fact that some people don't share your feelings on this particular record

thats fair kris, I will admit most of my tastes have started to become rooted in more alternative and underground styles and bands, but I can't control what I enjoy
